Barley Malt Syrup
Certified organically grown and made. Traditionally malted, using only the process of sprouting. No artificial enzymes are used. Considered one of the best natural sweeteners because of the slow-digesting sugars. Made from sprouted barley. Thick, sticky, malty, similar in consistency, color and flavor to molasses.
Use one to one in recipes to replace honey and molasses. To replace sugar, use 1/4 cup less liquid for each cup of barley malt.
