This sturdy colander is constructed with a lower rim for stability and two side handles. It is about 9 1/2" wide at the top and 3 3/4" to the base of the bowl. It stands nearly 6" high. The sides have lovely leaf-shaped cut-outs for drainage; the bottom has the traditional small holes.

Use and care for your stainless steel: Before use, remove all stickers and labels, wash thoroughly with warm soapy water, rinse and dry.

Stainless steel is not recommended for prolonged use or storage of salty, high acid foods or beverages (i.e. pickling, wine or beer fermentation.)
