When wax is produced it is white in color. The yellow color that is sometimes detected is from the pollen and other residue that the bees pick up on their bodies and carry back to the comb. Our wax is run through a clay particle filter which removes any of the pollen or other particles which may be present, leaving a creamy white product behind. However, because this is a natural product, color variations are common and normal.
