- Directions for use: Broadcast the pearls onto fallow ground with your hand or spreader at the recommended spreader rates. Cultivate or rake (3”) into the soil and water well. Established lawns benefit from annual applications of Garden Pearls Gypsum with your lawn spreader or by hand at 25 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft. Just let the rain or irrigation water dissolve the pearls. Use one to two handfuls for each established plant based on plant size. Great in your vegetable garden too. Add calcium to your plants without changing soil pH. Can be used on Rhododendrons, Azaleas, and Camellias.
