Description
Marble Mortar & Pestle
This attractive item is made of marble and is ideal for grinding herbs, spices or tablets or for pounding nuts. It measures 4" in diameter and 4" tall. The basin is about 1 3/4" deep with an interior diameter of about 3". The unit is bowl shaped with a base of 3" in diameter. The marble pestle is 5" long and slightly tapered measuring about 1 1/4" at the rounded crushing end and 3/4" at the handle end.
- TO USE: Crush herbs, spices or nutmeats with a rotary motion, pressing them around the sides of the mortar.
